Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and a brief rest, visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple for evening darshan. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Nepalgunj
After breakfast, check out and head to the airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Nepalgunj.
Day 3: Nepalgunj – Simikot – Hilsa – Taklakot
Post breakfast, fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot. After a short rest in Simikot, board a helicopter to Hilsa. From Hilsa, complete border formalities and drive to Taklakot (Purang), crossing three checkpoints. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay in Taklakot.
Day 4: Acclimatization in Taklakot
This day is reserved for acclimatization at high altitude. Relax and adapt to the Himalayan climate to avoid altitude sickness. Meals and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Taklakot to Mansarovar Lake
After breakfast, drive 95 km towards Lake Mansarovar. En route, stop at Rakshastal before reaching Mansarovar. On arrival, take a holy dip in the lake and perform rituals. Dinner and overnight stay near Mansarovar.
Day 6: First Day of Parikrama (Trek to Dirapuk)
After breakfast, drive to Darchen (35 km) and further to Yam Dwar (8 km) – the starting point of the Kora. Begin the 14 km trek to Dirapuk, where you’ll get the first glimpse of Kailash’s North Face and perform Charan Sparsh. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight stay at Dirapuk.
Day 7: Second Day of Parikrama (Trek to Zuthulphuk)
Early morning trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (the highest point). This is the most challenging stretch of the Kora. On descent, visit Gauri Kund and walk further to Phedi, followed by the trek to Zuthulphuk. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Final Day of Parikrama – Return to Hilsa/Simikot
After breakfast, a short and easy trek concludes the Kora. Board the waiting vehicle to Darchen, then drive back to Hilsa (time permitting). Take a helicopter to Simikot, check in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 9: Simikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu – Lucknow
Post breakfast, fly back from Simikot to Nepalgunj, then onward to Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, travel to Lucknow. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Departure from Lucknow
After breakfast, check out and proceed to your onward destination. You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion for successfully completing the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
