Summers (May to June):

• Weather: This is the most favorable time to visit Adi Kailash. The weather is pleasant with temperatures ranging between 10°C to 20°C in the daytime. Nights can get chilly, dropping to around 0°C to 5°C.
• Accessibility: The roads are mostly clear and pilgrimage circuit remains operational. Snow from the previous winter begins to melt, and the beauty of the surrounding landscapes becomes more visible.
• Tourism: Since the weather is more forgiving, you’ll find more tourists and pilgrims making their way to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat.
• Advice: Try to book your travel reservations from 2nd Week of May or onwards, just in case the road developments are taking time in clearing the highway after winter season ends.

Monsoons (July and August):

• Weather: The monsoon brings heavy rainfall to the region, making it risky to travel. Roads may become treacherous due to landslides, and trekking routes could be blocked.
• Avoid visiting during this season due to safety concerns.

Autumn (September, October to November):

• Weather: This is another excellent time to visit Adi Kailash. The monsoon rains have subsided, and the skies clear up, offering crisp views of the surrounding mountains. Temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C during the day, with nighttime temperatures dropping to around -5°C to 5°C.
• Accessibility: The roads are clear, and trekking is safe. This is also the ideal season for having clear darshan of Om Parvat and exploring the Lipulekh Pass, (if it remains open for pilgrims). 
• Advice: Try to book your travel reservations from 2nd Week of September or onwards, just in case the road developments are taking time in clearing the highway after monsoon season ends. Also be mindful of the increasing cold toward late October and November.

Winters (December to April):

• Weather: Winters bring heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures, making the region inaccessible. The mercury can dip to -15°C to -20°C.
• Accessibility: Most of the routes remain closed due to heavy snow and even local villagers get down to a habitable place during winters.
